Stout's Book Club is the place to be! We have had an amazing crowd, good food, and great discussions in the past months! Come join us in August! Mallory will be leading discussion of the book Midlife Margaritas

Held in Canton’s historic Downtown on Saturday and Sunday, May 20-21, from 10am-5pm, this annual event will offer visitors the rare opportunity to savor the works of some of the most talented artists and craftspeople from across the South and beyond.  This year the Artist Market will include exhibitors whose fine art mediums include oil, watercolor, fine blown glass, elegant and whimsical jewelry, decorative and functional pottery, sculpture and hand turned wood, among others.

Just 40 minutes from downtown Atlanta, Canton offers the charm of a historic river town with a view of the North Georgia mountains. The festival is located in Canton’s newly revitalized historic downtown district.

The annual Canton Festival of the Arts features:

  • Artist’s Market with over 75 exhibitors from nine states.
  • Serenity Gardens celebrates the art of living well. If you are interested in gardening, sustainability, incorporating nature into your life and all things green, this is the place for you
  • Tempting food concessions and a wine and beer garden including Stout's Growlers Mobile Beer Trailer!
  • The Interactive Children’s Experience offers hands on art activities for children, including mural painting, photography, drawing, dance, drama and so much more!

Thursdays Uncorked Wine Tasting!

Come join us for fun, fellowship, and wine! Similar to our Wine Down Wednesday, Thursdays Uncorked, we will be tasting 5 amazing wines from around the world. We will be pairing each wine with a small snack. You can drop in anytime from 6-8pm. The cost for the event is $5 at the door, cash or credit card. First Friday! May 5th Cinco de Mayo!

Join us for the Cinco de Mayo party on May 5th from 6 to 9 p.m. at First Friday in Downtown Canton, hosted by Canton Main Street!  Stout's Growlers will have the mobile trailer at the Square with 8 Beers, alongside a red & white wine on Tap too! .... And, at the store, we will be offering pints from our 30 Taps as well as growler fills too of course.  This is a fun downtown event for the whole community, we hope to see you!

First Friday will be filled with “Cinco de Mayo” fun for the whole family with a car show, live music, a free bounce house, food and beverages to delight and wonderful local shopping!

Don't miss the fun as we close down Main Street for dancing in the street with tunes from Anita and Party Life, renown Atlanta party band, whose genres includes rock, soul, disco, swing standards, Motown and pop! Fincher-Atkins Park will have games, giant bubbles and face painting, many retail shops will keep their doors open late and visiting local artisans will line the sidewalks-- offering something for everyone in the family!

Join us and other local merchants for First Friday as we celebrate Historic Downtown Canton with a "Block Party"  featuring Loose Shoes Band.  Stout's Growlers will have the mobile trailer at the Square with 8 Beers, red wine & white wine on Tap!  We will also be doing a casual wine tasting of two wines at the store as well as offering pints from our 30 Taps in the store during this fun downtown event.  We hope to see you!

Wine Down Wednesday

From Italy we come back to the states to sample some west coast wines from Sonoma and Napa Valley. Drop in anytime from 6-8pm. We will have 5 wines to sample and an abundance of wines to purchase. We will have some small snacks to enjoy and lots of neighbors and friends to spend time with. Please share with your fellow wine loving friends. Hope to see you there. If you don't like wine but want to come spend time with us, we have 30 taps of beer for you to enjoy and growlers to fill. 

The event will have a $5 charge at the door but you will receive a $5 coupon to use that night on the purchase of a bottle of wine or a growler.

We are very excited to be launching a Book Club at Stout's Growlers! Mallory Elise Morris will be leading discussion of the group's book of choice and will meet the 1st Thursday of the Month, starting March 2nd. Our first meeting will be more of a meet and greet, to understand what people want out of the club and what books are preferred. We will have 2-3 books to vote on for the March book of the month. We also will be able to serve a pint of beer or wine by the glass/bottle to enjoy while we discuss. What good is a book club without wine or beer to pair? Also, if you'd like to bring snacks or something to share, feel free.
